Summary Info on Rick Santorum for President Petition Drive

 In just 14 days, starting December 23rd and concluding January 6th, a hard working team of hundreds of activists and volunteers across the state of Illinois banded together to collect over 5000 signatures to get former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum on the Illinois Presidential preference ballot. The minimum number required for ballot access is 3000 and the maximum allowed to be filed is 5000. The Santorum team turned in the maximum number, with hundreds extra to spare. 558 pages with anywhere from 1 to 10 signatures on each were filed.
In Illinois, Delegate and Alternate Delegate candidates are elected by Congressional District indicating a preference for a candidate
whose name is placed in parenthesis next to their own name. Santorum Illinois filed full Delegate teams in 14 districts, 14 of Illinois’
Districts require 3 Delegates each, 2 require four (15th and 18th) and 2 require two (4th and 7th). The 44 Delegates recruited and filed are as follows:
